Being brave is an act of courage. To be brave does not mean to be confident. Matter of fact, it may require you to act when you don’t feel brave. Webster says brave is a fearlessness of danger, a firmness of spirit which meets danger without fear. I would go a step further and say a firmness of spirit which meets danger REGARDLESS of any fear you may feel. Pressing forward in the face of fear – a noble effort to face a challenge – to dare, to defy, to encounter, to challenge oneself on the fertile ground of the field of all possibility. Who you are as an artist is that POSSIBILITY – one that must be met out in the field – where there is chaos – it is not in the gentle comfort of your home where you create that your battle is forged – it is out in the field where you must go. In today’s meditation invite in the splendor, the magnificence of the dauntless you – the one who has the courage to meet yourself in that field of all possibility where your artistry is ushered into the world…
