Cari’s method builds the singers'
voice from the foundation up, or onto an existing technique. Using
alignment, breath, tone and resonance, her technique reveals the
"pure voice" unencumbered by compensatory muscles. Natural
resonance, diaphragmatic breathing, breath control, laryngeal
resistance, "building the bridge" and creating a strong,
resilient voice are the hallmarks of her training coveted by Grammy
winners, American Idol's and rock stars around the globe. Her
Master Vocal Exercise Regimen with use of Hearfones™ garners
results twice as fast as other programs. From warm-ups, to voice
building and strength training to voice saving cool downs, Cari
gets singers on the road to vocal strength and freedom quickly
and effectively.
Cari also knows how important individual
style is in a contemporary sound,
and she specializes in bringing out each singer’s individual
qualities and natural sound.
Cari uses Pro Tools software and
state-of-the-art vocal mics and studio gear regularly to record
her artists’ vocals in her private vocal sessions. This
recording process lets the singer hear with the "outside"
ear exactly what the audience hears. Cari’s method trains
her artists to hear their voices more accurately, make changes
more quickly, and develop more effectively their sound and style.
Cari’s Coaching gives
singer’s the professional edge to deliver a more powerful
message to their audience. Cari gives artists a place to tune

Staying
vocally healthy is a constant in a professional singer's career.
In the high stressed demanding schedule of a touring artist, nothing
is more important than keeping a voice healthy and strong. Unlike
a guitar player that replaces a string when it breaks, a singer
cannot replace a broken vocal cord. Vocal health and care is a
key ingredient in a singer’s longevity and success.
Over two decades of coaching singers,
and being one herself, Cari specializes
in keeping voices healthy with natural holistic methods. Her knowledge
of vocal health, together with her varied studies in alternative
medicine and extensive experience preserving singer’s voices,
makes her one of the top stops on the touring schedule of artists
in and out of NYC. Every
singer struggles with occasional stress,
colds or flu's or from lack of rest, poor diet (touring food –
slim pickin’s) and overall dehydration. Cari coaches her
singers to understand all the components of vocal health from
diet and lifestyle to vitamins, supplements, herbs, homeopathy
remedies to help out. She also utilizes modalities such as massage,
yoga, acupuncture among others methodologies to help restore balance
and improve energy. Knowing how the instrument works and what
it needs under certain circumstances helps artists saves countless
hours, ample frustration, canceled concerts and chronic vocal

Vocal Recovery
Cari helps singers restore their vocal health. In
Vocal Recovery, the singing voice is realigned to make the sound
flow correctly, eliminating extraneous tensions and promoting
the return of agility and flexibility. Learning to use the vocal
instrument properly and reducing tensions can help prevent vocal
issues and help recover lost voices partially, or completely.
Cari has worked with countless vocalists suffering from vocal
loss or vocal problems such as nodules and cysts. She has helped
many achieve full or partial recovery with her natural methods
that can be used alongside traditional medical approaches.
Diet and lifestyle are major contributors
to vocal fatigue and loss. In Recovery,
Cari designs a diet and lifestyle program for each individual.
Her program consists of using fresh foods (avoiding processed
foods), a regimen of yoga and exercise, 8-9 hours of sleep,
extra hydration and humidity, homeopathic medicine, herbs (Western
and Chinese) and other natural healing modalities such as massage,
acupressure and acupuncture.
