Does The Cole Vocal Method™ work with all genres + vocal styles? Can I still use my own singing style or will CVM change my voice?

What is Bel Canto singing? How is it different from other contemporary vocal methods and approaches?
Bel Canto, translated as “beautiful singing” in Italian, is a traditional vocal technique rooted in classical singing. Our method, the Cole Vocal Method™, draws inspiration from Bel Canto but is uniquely tailored for contemporary singers. Unlike some methods that may tighten or constrict vocal range, our approach focuses on opening the voice.
The Cole Vocal Method™ emphasizes techniques such as vocal massage and other innovative practices that create more space inside the vocal instrument. By doing so, we aim to foster a dynamic and unrestricted vocal range, allowing singers to explore the full potential of their voices without limitations.
The Cole Vocal Method evolved over 3 generations over 90 years. The method is based in Bel Canto which is the true science of singing from Italy, but adapted for contemporary singers. Technique is accomplished without the use of the “operatic sound” but using the mechanics of operatic methods which yield the best results.
The Cole Vocal Method™ (CVM) is different from other techniques because it is a complete vocal method that addresses the biomechanics and health of the singing voice, based on 40 years of vocal science. Many other vocal methodologies and programs that promise to improve your voice. And while they most likely will on the surface, most of them teach techniques that manipulate the sound of the voice which only adjust the top layers. When you manipulate sound on the surface of the voice, it can be compared to window dressing. It looks good on the surface but the foundation may be faulty. The CVM gets to the root of the voice addressing the biomechanics which improves the root strength and core mechanics of your voice dramatically improving the vocal instrument.

How is the Certification Program structured and delivered? Will I get access to the entire program all at once?
The Vocal Coach Certification Program (VCCP) is a LIVE online certification program held over the course of 1 year, led by CVM Founder + Celebrity Vocal Coach, Cari Cole. Throughout the program, students will receive monthly instruction in class and online as they build upon their vocal training and learning.
Once you join VCCP, you’ll receive access to your VCCP Members Portal, Bonus Materials, and the Private Slack Community Channel. All classes are held online on Zoom and are recorded and posted in membership for replay anytime. Each Class is accompanied by slides, worksheets, exercises and instructions.
As you move throughout the program, you will receive additional training and materials inside your VCCP portal to accelerate your learning. All materials are downloadable for safe keeping.
Here is an overview of the elements inside VCCP and the Vocal Coach Certification:
- The majority of The Vocal Coach Certification curriculum is built around a LIVE class system and is not pre-recorded. Classes are held on Zoom and replays are available for download within 24 hours of each class.
- In addition to the LIVE classes, VCCP includes the full Cole Vocal Method™, a master holistic voice-building system. This includes the Foundation 70+ exercises learned in The Vocal Freedom Circle (VFC) as well as the next Level I of the method.
- The entire CVM™ system is available inside VCCP to access for your practice and to implement the new techniques taught in class.
- Upon registration, receive access to Parts 1-4 already learned in VFC and new exercises will be released as you move through the curriculum.
